I don't know about you but for me January and February are the most challenging months when it comes to decorating my home. There's this big hole left where all the cozy christmas flair used to be and at the same time I'm just completely over holiday season. Even the Valentine aisle in the store make me cringe at the sight of another red heart. I'm ready to move on from santas, angels, stars and glitter, yesterday if possible. At the same time, it's too early for spring so I'm left in a vacuum, at the time of the year when I'm spending the most time indoors.
My saving grace is flowers. Greens and whites provide relief from the holiday season palette while saving the pastels another couple of weeks. I have been eyeing this absolutely gorgeous vase from Skruf's Glassworks in Sweden. It's called Dagg and seems to be featured in every interior magazine nowadays. For good reason..it's just so perfectly simplistic and adorned at the same time. Check it out here if you're curious. Just know I warned you!
At $320 it's going to get comfy up there on top of my wishlist though, and despite how I dislike settling for a compromise I found a budget alternative for my carry-me-to-spring roses. I found this simple round vase at Walmart for $4.99. If I'm going to have to compromise it better be a really good deal!
