I love greenery and plants in a home. Indoors and outdoors. It makes the air cleaner, it smells great and it just lends that relaxed and taken care of feeling. But I have a serious problem remembering to water my plants. Outdoors it's hopeless to keep any pots alive unless I make sure to have irrigation figured out. Indoors it doesn't go quite as quickly but it usually ends with a disaster if my husband is not home to take care of the watering.
Holmegaard has realized that this is an issue for many of us and are providing a solution, called Gaia. This funny looking pot holds water in the bottom that it leads up to the soil in the top through artificial fibers. The plant gets just as much water as it needs, not more, not less.
Pretty neat, right?!
